About us

    Nigel (Founder)

    Husband and Dad of two boys, Nigel is passionate about child safety. With a background in digital and mental health, Nigel recognised the need to support educating parents with social media and tech after a friend’s teenager fell victim to a sexual cat-phishing and blackmail scam. It was immediately apparent that there was a massive lack of guidance on what to do when things go wrong.

    Husband and Dad of two girls. Having led product development for global businesses such as eBay and Ticketmaster, Kevin leapt at the chance to drive the Adultproof product.

    As a husband, father of two, uncle to 15, and great-uncle to four, Alex understands the pressures that the online world places on young people. With over 15 years of experience in digital health, he welcomed the opportunity to help educate parents, carers, and children on how to stay safe online.

    “My kids are still young, and my wife and I actively limit screen time — but we know it’s inevitable (and often a great tool, too). For me, understanding how to navigate the digital world and support my kids in their online lives is incredibly important.”

    Chris’s wife is a Head Teacher at a large primary school, and he’s a Dad to two teenagers. He has built multiple tech-led businesses, including three multi-million-pound products, one in the education sector.

    “People bring tech-product and business ideas to me all the time, and I’m forever saying no and that I don’t have the time. However, Adultproof will be a game changer, and it’s desperately needed. Both my kids have told me horror stories about friends who have been hacked, scammed and much, much worse”.
